The party
except for Kirsten made themselves inconspicuous round a corner. After
examining the outside of the door and finding nothing Kirsten bent to examine
the handle. No lock was visible, this door would be bolted if it were ever
barred. Kirsten tried the same ruse as before turning the handle slowly this
way and that. The normal rotation proved correct and the door swung open all
too easily onto a small torch lit room.
Three men playing dice sit round a table squarely facing the entrance. Dice are dropped and
loaded crossbows picked up.
“Who are
you, you gotta password or you gotta no business here?”
